Official XBoxMMA Light Heavyweight Tournament
XBoxMMA has been up and running for several months now and we’ve seen lots of action. We’ve passed the 500 user mark and have had over 500 tournaments and nearly 1,000 individual challenges issued over the course of several months.
With all the action on the site, the rankings are starting to take shape and its time that we hold our first official XBoxMMA Tournament.
The first...

Full Fight History
Earlier this afternoon, we released a new update to XBoxMMA to show the full fight history for each user on the site.
Previously, when viewing a user’s profile, you could simply see that users current rating and their win/loss record.
Now, we are giving you even more detail into each user’s performance history on XBoxMMA. You’ll now see a break down of each win and loss by...
Challenge System Launched
Today, we officially launched the challenge system on XBoxMMA.com
Challenges will allow you to setup one-on-one fights with another XBoxMMA.com member. Instead of waiting for the process of getting matched up with someone over the course of a tournament, you can now issue challenges directly to anyone on the site.
Want to take a shot at the top ranked players? Send them a challenge and see...

Forums Launched
Since we launched, the most requested feature by users has been the addition of forums.
Well, today I give you forums.
The forums will change a bit over the next few weeks as I update the design and some features, but for now the forums are active.
A nice feature is that the forums are integrated into the main XBoxMMA.com website. When you log into your XBoxMMA.com account, you are...
Next Matches Feature
We understand it has been a bit hard to track your current matches in all the tournaments you are in.
Tonight we launched a new feature in each users profile page that list all your next available matches in every tournament you are in. Hopefully this makes it easier to track down and schedule matches with your opponents.
Tournament Chat Feature
We have added a new “tournament chat” feature that will hopefully make it easier for you to communicate with the other users in your tournament and make it easier to schedule your matches.
At the bottom of each tournament page you will find the tournament chat section. The chat is only visible to users who are participants in the tournament and is not visible to the general public.
First Tournament Champion
Congrats to GamerTag Steviec2k8 who won the Hawkenberry Invitational on XBoxMMA.
The Hawkenberry Invitational was an eight-man, single-elimination welterweight tournament and Steviec2k8 took Diego Sanchez to the title.
Steviec2k8 defeated Matt Serra, BJ Penn and then Mike Swick in the finals to take home the crown!
UFC Undisputed Launched!
Well, it’s May 19, 2009 and UFC 2009 Undisputed is finally here!
We couldn’t be more excited at XBoxMMA.com and the response to the site has been great so far.
New tournaments keep being created and users are starting to report match results and build their XBoxMMA.com rating.
Continue to invite your friends to the site and build tournaments.
Also, we really would love your...
Soft Launch
XBoxMMA.com is now open for business (well, sort of).
We have “soft launched” the site while we still wrap up a few small things.
If you visit the site, feel free to create and account and invite your friends. Start creating tournaments and playing with the site.
We still are adding features, but we’d love your feedback on what is already up there.
At the moment, you...
Only a few days left!!!
XBoxMMA.com is so close to launching its unbearable!
We have been hard at work over the past month getting the site ready for launch so we can start running UFC 2009 Undisputed tournaments from day one.
Look for an announcement here over the weekend when we go live and start spreading the word to your friends!
